Ross, 6 time world Ironman
Triathlon
champion Dave Scott and Peter Blakemore after
Ironman Coeur D'Alene 2004.
Ross grew up admiring Dave Scott.
What an honor to meet him
after finishing his first Ironman
After Ross's
sweaty hand shook
Dave Scott's,
Dave made the following gesture.
It was great talking to and taking pictures with
perhaps the greatest Ironman Triathlete of all time.
Dave Scott was one of the athletes
Ross admired while growing up
Picture of My
first Ironman Swim...note the two
fellows in the water watching everyone.
This is Ross Hauser in the yellow cap (his favorite
color) and his training partner Peter. This was both their first
Ironman races and decided to let everyone go before
starting the swim. Ross would soon have a panic
attack in the water but overcame it to have a
terrific swim of 1:31. He went on to compete his
first Ironman. Peter not only finished his first
Ironman but ended up starting a romantic
correspondence with Krista Puller, whose home we
were staying at.
They are now happily married.
Ross and Marion after
Ironman Coeur D'Alene 2004.
Both were relieved
that the first Ironman
was over and successful!!!
